iCook POUTINE with sumac-vegetables & cheese

Hi everyone! 🙋🏻‍♀ Today I tried to cook Poutine but according to my preference with sumac, vegetables such as brown champignon, spinach, potatoes with gouda cheese, and bell pepper. Seasoned with vegetable broth powder, sumac and soy sauce. I also added milk for the champignon this typically Italian crema produced by Acetaia Simonini in Modena using a traditional process of concentrated grape must and balsamic vinegar thickened to create a slightly pasty, dark cream with a charismatic aroma. That made my gravy more delicious.

iCook chicken breast in Kung Pao sauce & blanch broccoli as a side dish

Today I am sharing my chicken breast recipe in Kung Pao sauce. It is a ready mix sauce which I got from my favourite Chinese Shop near Naschmarkt. A Sichuan cuisine which we love most. As a side dish blanch broccoli and also vegetable soup. Aromatic fast and rich in protein. Say hello to a winning combination of chicken in a delicious sauce. Don’t know how to cook? UFC Ready Recipes has got you covered! With ready-to-use cooking sauces, all you have to do is pour and let it simmer. But I sauteed it first, then added the UFC Ready Recipes. I bought this from Manila to try here in Vienna. It is not bad, still, I added tomato paste for the thickness of the sauce. 🇵🇭CRISPY KNUCKLE OF PORK IN SALADMASTER OIL CORE SKILLET WITHOUT USING ANY FAT OR OIL

👩‍🍳I had something very sinful today, Crispy “Pata” in Tagalog, a knuckle of pork while cooking in a Saladmaster oil core skillet, I decided to make hoisin-peanut butter sauce for dipping for the crispy knuckle of pork. But first I remove the fat from the meat with Saladmaster. This helps a lot by removing fat which is not good for our bodies. Happy healthy cooking with Saladmaster oil core skillet. Very helpful and saves a lot of energy and money too. Served with my Bibigo kimchi, sweet chili sauce, and garlic. Hubby ate with white rice, and I ate just with the sauce and Bibigo kimchi.

YOU NEED…..

1 piece of Knuckle pork

HOISIN-PEANUT SAUCE:

For peanut Butter, I used the organic one

Any brand of Hoisin sauce

Some garlic

Peanut oil

Note: This is my version, I have various versions of this depending on my taste. Sometimes I like it spicy, salty, and a bit sweet and sour. Will show you soon the rest of my versions.

👩‍🍳Blackout – a widespread, possibly even Europe-wide power failure. Recently, the Austrian Defence Minister warns the public of possible BLACKOUT in the near future. Nobody knows when it will happen and how long it will take place. This was widespread since last year. But now I think it is about time to take precautions or should I say prepared awareness must take place right now. Hubby and I started today getting some stuff that we think we need. And I started to cook some foodstuff from our freezer to get rid of it and later on I’m gonna off the refrigerator. This can also help us to save some money because a too huge refrigerator for two people is too much and besides the electricity bill nowadays is too pricey. A sort of survival in an emergency situation will be our food supplies and water. Our precautions and preparations for survival in case it will take too long.

👩‍🍳Our Nochebuena last Christmas 2022, with my two kids Ronald-Louis and Diana-Grace. Our dogs got presents too from my daughter. I think they’re happy too. I decided to have a raclette or used it for my version of samgyeopsal. Moet for Champagne and Heineken beer for hubby. Samgyeopsal ➡️ is a popular Korean dish. Samgyeopsal is more or less a thinly sliced pork belly and is usually fried with garlic. Here I added beef meat and shrimp. And cheese for raclette with chili. Pork is not good for hypertension. 🙈😅Recipe yields for five persons. We also had kimchi and radish too. The sauce is all homemade. For the sauce recipe please check out here.⬇️

Christmas markets. Vienna is so beautiful at Christmas time From mid-November to Christmas, the loveliest squares in Vienna are once again transformed into magical Christmas markets. The scent of Christmas baking, hot punch, and roasted almonds are in the air. The old town and shopping streets are decorated with festive lights and put the city in the Christmas spirit.

🇵🇭BEEF & PORK BOWL IN MECHADO SAUCE WITH SWEET POTATO

👩‍🍳Beef and pork bowl in Mechado sauce. Topped on rice. I got this Mechado sauce product of UFC from Manila to try. Hubby loves the outcome of the sauce with the mixture of beef and pork meat. I added sweet potato instead of potato. Something different from the usual cooking in Filipino cuisine. Maybe you could give it a try, just sharing this new experiment directly from my kitchen. With yellow bell pepper, red beans, and pickled small cucumber. Another new week, it’s Monday the 12th of December 2022. Yesterday was the 3rd Advent Sunday. Have a try I am sure you will love it.

YOU NEED…….

I mix:

1kilo beef meat and pork meat

1 can of Red Kidney Beans or more if you feel like

1 piece of Sweet Potato

Vegan Butter

1 Red Onion

6 cloves of Garlic

3 pieces of Bay Leaves

2 pieces Carrots

1 Pouch of Mechado Sauce product of UFC

some Water

Few Pickled small Cucumber

🇹🇭🇪🇺 SPICY PEPPERONI SPAGHETTI WITH WATER SPINACH (Kangkong), OKRA, PEA PODS & GROUND PORK MEAT👩🏼‍🍳

Pepperoni spaghetti (spicy) with water spinach (kangkong), okra, pea pods, and ground pork meat in Mushrooms Sauce. Actually, those vegetables and pork ground meat were leftovers from Thailanna where we had our Halloween dinner. It was too much, their servings are really too much for one person. So we decided to take it out. Now I made a yummy dish out of it with my pepperoni spaghetti. The whole foodstuff feats to spicy spaghetti. We Need Millions of Imperfect Zero Wasters. Recycling leftovers from yesterday. Throwing away food isn’t just a way of money it is downright shameful. How many of the world’s people don’t have enough to eat?……. Just like in the Philippines. 🇵🇭

We also tried this restaurant inside SM Clark called “BULALO WORLD”. Something not for me, I am not happy with what they serve.😔 Maybe I should open a restaurant there.🤪
