🇦🇹🇵🇭SATURDAY, DECEMBER 24 NOCHEBUENA 2022 

👩‍🍳Our Nochebuena last Christmas 2022, with my two kids Ronald-Louis and Diana-Grace. Our dogs got presents too from my daughter. I think they’re happy too. I decided to have a raclette or used it for my version of samgyeopsal. Moet for Champagne and Heineken beer for hubby. Samgyeopsal ➡️ is a popular Korean dish. Samgyeopsal is more or less a thinly sliced pork belly and is usually fried with garlic. Here I added beef meat and shrimp. And cheese for raclette with chili. Pork is not good for hypertension. 🙈😅Recipe yields for five persons. We also had kimchi and radish too. The sauce is all homemade. For the sauce recipe please check out here.⬇️

Christmas markets. Vienna is so beautiful at Christmas time From mid-November to Christmas, the loveliest squares in Vienna are once again transformed into magical Christmas markets. The scent of Christmas baking, hot punch, and roasted almonds are in the air. The old town and shopping streets are decorated with festive lights and put the city in the Christmas spirit.

👩‍🍳Tonight we tried the ThaiLanna Restaurant located in the 22nd District of Vienna. I started again this art of culinary Vienna tours. On a tour through the city’s restaurants, coffee houses, wine taverns, and markets, Vienna presents itself from its pleasurable side. Vienna is known for its cuisine, its coffee house culture, and the Heurigen. The best way to explore the culinary facets of the city is on a tour. This culinary tour lead to selected Viennese cuisine restaurants, wine taverns, or coffee houses, as desired. Connoisseurs experience a mix of culture, history, anecdotes, and culinary delights on the tours. Which I am planning to do not only in Vienna but also in the Philippines as well in another Asian country in the future.

🇮🇹FOOD STUFF SHOPPING IN MILAN – LAST DAY IN MILAN 🧳 iTravel 

👩‍🍳On the last day of our stay in Milan. We go around frustrated and really don’t wanna go home to work and live home and under this day. Although this is our first travel after the Pandemic also the first travel of this year 2022. We went shopping for some stuff for cooking. And I got my Starbucks cup too. We tried also the Branch of Jollibee in Milan and I tell you frankly, we are not satisfied with all the taste. We are used to European style already. It’s all strange for me. And for my daughter too, being born in Europe and we don’t have Jollibee in Vienna. Anyway, the following day we are leaving Milan and will be back in mundane activities in Vienna. Looking forward to the next travel vlog somewhere in Europe or in an Asian country.

THINLY SLICED PORK LOIN IN UMAMI SAUCE A HOMEMADE ORGANIC SAUCE TASTE OF LETTLAND

👩‍🍳I found this stand at the farmers’ market in Naschmarkt selling different homemade organic sauces. I got myself some of their sauces for me to try at home. And today I tried their Umami sauce for my pork loin with cauliflower rice and scallions. It turned out good I added some honey too. 🇵🇭HAPUNAN-DINNER-ABENDESSEN WITH MY HOME PREP MEAL

HOW TO…….

👩‍🍳The best time for dinner is between 5pm and 7pm. This gives the stomach and intestines enough time to digest the food they eat before the metabolism switches to sleep mode at night. The stress of the day is over, and the work is done. But in our case, if you are working from 11:30 before noontime until 10pm then you travel on the way home we need almost 30 minutes. Arrive at home almost half an hour before 11 pm then I have to cook for dinner. But luckily tonight I was already at around 6 pm so I have enough time to prepare our meal. So for tonight’s meal every Filipino, sinigang with Sea Bream and Shrimps, and fried squid. For dessert, I made a fruit cocktail with sour cream and grapes. Hubby is happy and of course my tummy too. I love the vegetables that it goes with this viand. happy prepping everyone.

YOU NEED…….

1 Sea Bream

2oog Shrimp

a bunch of Spinach

3 Chilis

1 Tomato

1 Onion

Scallions

2 pieces of eggplant, small

some Water

2 tbsps. Sinigang Seasoning

Salt to taste

FOR DESSERT:

1 can of Fruit Cocktail

a cup of Grapes

250g Sour Cream or more if you like

GINATANG TALONG AT PUSIT – EGGPLANT IN COCONUT MILK WITH SQUID 👩🏼‍🍳iCook

👩‍🍳Eggplant has many health benefits to offer. Good for diabetics may help cells do a better job of processing sugar just like me. And best of all low in calories and sodium and is a great source of dietary fiber. I often eat eggplant. Today I cooked it with squid and a bit spicy. About 6 pieces of Squid, cleaned

400ml Coconut Milk

4 pieces of Eggplant

some Olive Oil

3 pieces of Green Chillis, spicy or not spicy according to your preferences.

1 Onion, I used Red Onion

👩‍🍳With the fried rice with vegetables, only good things end up on the plate. Broccoli packs plenty of health benefits. while chicken thighs provide plenty of protein power. And thanks to provitamin A, carrots are good for our skin. It’s one meal you can’t ask for more.

Sardines fillet is breaded with Tempura and served with homemade Achara from my niece. Of course with rice, because we are Filipino. Achara is made from grated unripe Papaya originating from my country- the Philippines. This dish is often served as an accompaniment to fried or grilled foods, such as roast pork also to fish.

👩‍🍳The yellowish rice of Iloilo because of turmeric powder has to reach Vienna today. Remember my late mother who is fun of cooking this dish during all saints day or in Tagalog But my version is totally different from “Pista ng Minatay”. But my version is totally different from her. I don’t add meat like a chicken. I love this just purely kind seafood added. The Ilonggo’s undying love for their famous glutinous rice dish is a complete meal actually. With carbohydrates, protein and vitamins & minerals in just one spoonful. How about you do you love Valenciana too, how is your version of this? Let me know in the comment section down here.

NOTE: Recipe Yields 2 to 3 Persons

4 to 5 Boiled Eggs

250g Rice

1/2tbsp. Turmeric Powder

200g Shrimps

half a kilo Squid, a small one

300g Mussels

80g Raisins, dried

3pieces Frankfurter Sausage

some Scallions

half Yellow Bell Pepper

half Green Bell pepper

5 cloves Garlic

1 White Onion

a handful of Green Peas

some Olive Oil

Salt and Pepper

FOR SHRIMP-TOFU SOUP:
