👩🍳Tonight we tried the ThaiLanna Restaurant located in the 22nd District of Vienna. I started again this art of culinary Vienna tours. On a tour through the city’s restaurants, coffee houses, wine taverns, and markets, Vienna presents itself from its pleasurable side. Vienna is known for its cuisine, its coffee house culture, and the Heurigen. The best way to explore the culinary facets of the city is on a tour. This culinary tour lead to selected Viennese cuisine restaurants, wine taverns, or coffee houses, as desired. Connoisseurs experience a mix of culture, history, anecdotes, and culinary delights on the tours. Which I am planning to do not only in Vienna but also in the Philippines as well in another Asian country in the future.

👩🍳Summer spots in Vienna. The instant holiday feeling in the city. During the summer months, people like to seek refuge in the cool water or end the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. Although Vienna is not known to be on the sea, the big city still offers various places where you can switch off a little and are right on the water. And for some, it’s even worth packing your swimming trunks! Just like here in Seestadt at 22 District of Vienna cold drinks makes our afternoon summer vacation feeling. The next stop is another gastronomic adventure at Tozi Korean restaurant. Wherein the first time we tried this Mala Chicken. Gives me the idea to try it cooking at home. Chillen with my nice and dogs, ice cream time at Mariahilfer Strasse.
👩🍳Amazingly delicious! In fact, I haven’t found any really good sausage alternatives yet, these sausages are really tasty, don’t fall apart, and don’t stick. Made out of soy and wheat. I love glass noodles or sotanghon but I’m looking for alternative meat and I found this vegan assortment of sausage the last one I tried a while ago was the marinated which I added to my salad. First, it is really new to me the taste and the texture compared to meat like chicken and pork. But I want to switch to vegan for some reason like health issues, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and heart enlargement. Trying to incorporate more vegetables and more sustainability, why? Because I believe the environment also benefits from the reduction in meat consumption since the production of vegetable protein is significantly more resource-efficient than the production of animal protein. As you may know, if you are a subscriber of this channel, I love to experiment, food lover, adventurous, and motivated.

👩🍳Of course, every proper meal also includes soup. You are spoiled for choice when it comes to soup recipes the selection is simply huge. And best of all – many soup recipes are relatively easy to prepare and require little effort. Just like this fish soup recipe of mine for tonight’s dinner served with garlic Naan bread. You can try it maybe you will like it. Fish soups are made from fish and/or seafood as the flavor-determining ingredient. Here I added squid, cod fish fillet, shrimps, and bell peppers with dill.
YOU NEED…….

Olive Oil
200g Squid
1 Red Onion or Shallots
4 cloves of Garlic
200g Shrimps
200g Cod fillet
2tbsps. Tomato Paste
half Red Bell Pepper
halt Yellow Bell Pepper
1/2 0f cup Of White wine for cooking
2tbsps. Apple Cider Vinegar
Salt and Pepper
500ml Fish Broth
125g Whip Cream
a handful of chopped dill
Garlic Naan Bread

👩🍳This recipe is prepared in a short period of time, together with minute steak and “kangkong at Pusit ( Water Spinach & Squid). For dinner of two, at home. I love Sotanghon the reason why I always see to it is that I have enough stock in my pantry. Sponge Gourd is also good for diabetics serves to lower the sugar levels both in the blood and urine and is rich in fiber too. Studies say boosts Immune System. So why not often cook “Patola” at home.

👩🍳I found this stand at the farmers’ market in Naschmarkt selling different homemade organic sauces. I got myself some of their sauces for me to try at home. And today I tried their Umami sauce for my pork loin with cauliflower rice and scallions. It turned out good I added some honey too. Guys check out their shop online and they have Instagram and Facebook accounts too.

👩🍳The best time for dinner is between 5pm and 7pm. This gives the stomach and intestines enough time to digest the food they eat before the metabolism switches to sleep mode at night. The stress of the day is over, and the work is done. But in our case, if you are working from 11:30 before noontime until 10pm then you travel on the way home we need almost 30 minutes. Arrive at home almost half an hour before 11 pm then I have to cook for dinner. But luckily tonight I was already at around 6 pm so I have enough time to prepare our meal. So for tonight’s meal every Filipino, sinigang with Sea Bream and Shrimps, and fried squid. For dessert, I made a fruit cocktail with sour cream and grapes. Hubby is happy and of course my tummy too. I love the vegetables that it goes with this viand. happy prepping everyone.

1 Tomato
