COUSCOUS SALAD with EGGPLANT ๐Ÿ† CREAM GOAT CHEESE

I am not surprised that the eggplant is used in so many recipes in oriental cuisine. Itโ€˜s rich in nutrients and can be prepared in many ways. Here it is refined with Ras el-Hanout and baked before it is served on couscous beds and with promegranate, creamy goat cheese and walnuts. The fresh dressing with mint rounds off the meal. โ€žRas el-Hanoutโ€œ means a spice mix found in varying forms in Tunisia ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ณ Algeria ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฟ and Morocco ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ. The name in Arabic means โ€žhead of the shopโ€œ and implies a mixture of the best spices the seller has to offer. Such as pimento, turmeric, coriander and cinnamon.

1 Pack of Ras-El-Hanout spice

200g Couscous

Haft of Cucumber ๐Ÿฅ’

10g of fresh Parsley and Mint

2pieces Scallions

a handful chopped Walnuts

CHรˆVRE CHAUD with My HOMEMADE HONEY DRESSING-FRENCH SALAD

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณChรจvre Chaud is a French dish made from Chรจvre cheese or warm goat’s milk cheese baked and topped on a salad and served hot of course. It is usually made by roasting the Chรจvre cheese on French bread and is often served with a green salad, accompanied by vinaigrette, olive oil or balsamic vinegar. This one is with my homemade honey dressing and baguette plus loose lettuce salad, topped with walnuts.

What is “Sweet Love Syrup?” Oligofructose from the “Sweet Love Root” chicory. The chicory root “chicory” is the main component of this golden syrup.Closely related to sugar beet, which converts the energy of sunlight into sugar, chicory stores it in fiber. The oligofructose extracted from the inulin that comes from the chicory root. This is a water-soluble fiber and therefore an important nutrient for our intestinal flora. Fiber has the effect of slowing the rate of nutrient absorption. Therefore, the blood sugar level rises less quickly. This in turn helps reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.

YOU NEED…….

FOR HONEY DRESSING:

100g Mustard

100g Apple ๐Ÿ Vinegar

100g Sweet Love Syrup or Honey ๐Ÿฏ instead

1tsp. Garlic ๐Ÿง„

200g Normal oil or any Vegetable Oil

200g Olive oil

FOR SALAD ๐Ÿฅ—

Loose Lettuce 1 head

100g. Walnuts

200g Goat Cheese roll

1 Baguette ๐Ÿฅ– or French bread

3tbsps Sesame seeds oil

2tbsps Vinegar

2tbsps Soy Sauce

3tbsps Maple Syrup

This recipe filled puff pastry can be served as starter or main course. Here served with salad bed. The abundance is made of tuna flakes from 2 cans of tuna in brine, snow peas, chopped parsley, cheese, and carrot. The recipe is great for buffets or parties too. Which is guaranteed to taste great for young and old.

Nutritional benefits of eating sardines it helps prevent heart disease due to their anti inflammatory properties. According to studies. Winter time is the season for this fish. You could get it for almost five euro per kilo near us. Every Tuesday they sell it fresh at Turkey shop. Today I bought it again just one kilo and fried it the way my hubby likes it. PORK MEAT with PAPRIKA POWDER

YOU NEED…….

* 500g Pork Meat I use crest or neck of pork (not too fat all)
* 4 pcs. Potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
* 2 pcs. Carrots, peeled and sliced
* a handful Green peas
* 2 pcs. medium-sized Tomatoes, peeled and chopped
* 1 medium-sized Onion, peeled and cut into cubes
* 1 Broth Cube
* 2 tbsps. Paprika Powder
* a pinch of Chili Flakes (for those whoo are not fan of spicy and hot you can ommit Chili Flakes)
* some salt and pepper
* Canola Oil for sauteing
* some water or soup stock

HOW TO…….

* Heat some oil and brown the meat, add onion, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, green peas paprika powder and saute. Add some water or soup stock not much just enough to tender the meat and potatoes. Seasoned with broth cube, salt and pepper, and add chili flakes. For those who are not friend of hot stuff you can omit chili flakes. Adjust seasoning with broth cube or salt. Serve with rice and enjoy your dinner ๐Ÿ˜›

HUBBY'S TOCINO and BELL PEPPER SALAD

Yesterday’s dinner at home, hubby’s Tocino and my Bell Peppers salad!
Just mix all together yellow and red bell peppers, spring onions, onion, and tomatoes. For dressing I used Balsamico (Balsamic Vinegar) salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of chiliflakes that’s it! Take it away from me Folks ๐Ÿ˜‰

"BABOY sa BAGOONG" with TOMATOE PASTE

Adapted from original “Baboy sa Bagoong”, instead of adding tomatoes I added tomatoe paste, parika powder and chili flakes. Using canola oil for sauteing!

YOU NEED…….

HOW TO…….

* Heat some oil and brown the meat, add onion, tomatoe paste, paprika powder and saute. Add some water or soup stock not much just enough to tender the meat. Then add sauteed shrimp paste, chili flakes and some pepper. For those who are not friend of hot stuff you can omit chili flakes. Adjust seasoning with broth cube or salt. Serve with rice and enjoy your dinner ๐Ÿ˜›

My potato salad recipe for you, delicious and very easy.

Here is my Turbo chicken with my homemade Potatoe Salad:-)
Whether it is for a family picnic, summer Sunday dinner or any day tasty side dish, there is something about potato salad that keeps us all coming back for more.
Suitable as side dish for viennese schnitzel, breaded chicken, breaded fish fillet and breaded vegetables.

YOU NEED…….

* 1 kg Potatoes boiled, peeled and sliced
* 1 bunch of chives chopped
* 1 large red onion thinly sliced
* 3 tbsps. olive oil
* 1 tbsps. mustard
* 5 tbsps. vinegar
* 2 tbsps. sugar
* 3/4 cup water
* salt and pepper

HOW TO…….

1.) Simmer potatoes until fork tender. Remove skins and sliced. Put some salt and some pepper. Then add the thinly sliced red onion and chopped chives.

2.) In a small pot put 3/4 cup water, salt and pepper, 5 tbsps. vinegar, 1 tbsp. mustard, 2tbsps. sugar, and olive oil. Mix together and heat over low heat don’t let it boil.

3.) Pour on to potatoes mix all together until blend.
