🇮🇹FOOD STUFF SHOPPING IN MILAN – LAST DAY IN MILAN 🧳 iTravel

👩‍🍳On the last day of our stay in Milan. We go around frustrated and really don’t wanna go home to work and live home and under this day. Although this is our first travel after the Pandemic also the first travel of this year 2022. We went shopping for some stuff for cooking. And I got my Starbucks cup too. We tried also the Branch of Jollibee in Milan and I tell you frankly, we are not satisfied with all the taste. We are used to European style already. It’s all strange for me. And for my daughter too, being born in Europe and we don’t have Jollibee in Vienna. Anyway, the following day we are leaving Milan and will be back in mundane activities in Vienna. Looking forward to the next travel vlog somewhere in Europe or in an Asian country.

🇦🇹ANOTHER GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE WITH AN EX-COLLEAGUE – CELEBRATED CHINESE NEW YEAR – EAT-OUT DINNER

👩‍🍳 Event gastronomy in Vienna, the culinary attractions in Vienna are diverse. If you are looking for something for everyone who is enthusiastic about a meal with a high entertainment value and event character, Vienna has a lot to offer. But these are small Restaurants in the city that are run by Asian people whom we love to try from time to time. Exempted is the Vegan ice which is run by Austrian and the Krah Krah Restaurant in the First District of Vienna which I tried with my ex-colleague. First Stop, lunch at Krah Krah Restaurant run by Austrian. 1980s Ale pub with the garden serving international food and drink including giant sandwiches. Rabensteig 8 A-1010 Vienna

The next one is one of our favourite Restaurants near Naschmarkt. With authentic Asian Cuisine. Restaurant Chinazentrum Zhong Xin For more than 15 years they have been spoiling guests from all over the world with traditional Chinese food and drinks at the Naschmarkt in 1060 Vienna. A Far Eastern ambience awaits you in our restaurant. “Zhongxin” means centre and their first location from 2002-to 2014 was on Rechte Wienzeile 29, 1040 Vienna. In 2014 they relocated to 1060 Vienna. Linke Wienzeile 44 1060 Vienna

The third one is Soya Noodles their meals are inspired by simple Asian cuisine. Prepare them daily from fresh ingredients and they do not use glutamate. They love coconut, ginger, chilli and Thai basil, so you can find them in most of their meals. Amerlingstraße 19, A-1060 Vienna

The last one is the Veganista Ice Cream. Run by two sisters who have been vegan for over 20 years and have been passionately pursuing a big dream: to produce honest and delicious ice cream. No artificial flavours, colours or powders. Simply the best ice cream with the best ingredients. Amerlingstraße 19, Vienna

🌏TEMPURA SARDINES FILLET & BROCCOLI FRIED RICE WITH CHICKEN THIGHS FILLET 👩🏻‍🍳iCook

👩‍🍳With the fried rice with vegetables, only good things end up on the plate. Broccoli packs plenty of health benefits. while chicken thighs provide plenty of protein power. And thanks to provitamin A, carrots are good for our skin. It’s one meal you can’t ask for more.

Sardines fillet is breaded with Tempura and served with homemade Achara from my niece. Of course with rice, because we are Filipino. Achara is made from grated unripe Papaya originating from my country- the Philippines. This dish is often served as an accompaniment to fried or grilled foods, such as roast pork also to fish.

🇵🇭SEAFOODS VALENCIANA 👩🏻‍🍳iCook

👩‍🍳The yellowish rice of Iloilo because of turmeric powder has to reach Vienna today. Remember my late mother who is fun of cooking this dish during all saints day or in Tagalog But my version is totally different from “Pista ng Minatay”. But my version is totally different from her. I don’t add meat like a chicken. I love this just purely kind seafood added. The Ilonggo’s undying love for their famous glutinous rice dish is a complete meal actually. With carbohydrates, protein and vitamins & minerals in just one spoonful. How about you do you love Valenciana too, how is your version of this? Let me know in the comment section down here.

🇮🇹VICITACITY MILAN- MEETUP WITH  @johncel Vlog sa Italy 🧳iTravel

👩‍🍳This time we visited Navigli Canal, which is fast becoming one of Milan’s most popular neighbourhoods, but there’s more to do here than see the canals from which the area takes its name. Also, we went to the Arch of peace which the Italians call “Arco Della Pace”, also we visited the “Santa Maria Delle Grazie” where you can find Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper (Church of Holy Mary of Grace Chiesa di Santa Maria Delle Grazie) and meet up with my fellow Youtuber @johncel Vlog sa italya. Then we went to Chocolate Shop near Doumo. It was full of fun even though only for a short period of time. Nice meeting you Maricel. See you soon again.

🇵🇭DAING NA BANGUS (Milk Fish)- LUGAW (RicePorridge) WITH PORK LOIN IN UMAMI SAUCE & TOFU – SAUTEED CHAYOTE👩🏻‍🍳iCook

👩‍🍳”Kamayan na”, eating by hands no fork and spoon. Fried daing na Bangus, boiled okra and eggplant, spring onion and tomato, bagoong with chilli, and basmati rice. For breakfast, rice porridge (lugaw) topped with tofu and pork loin in umami sauce. Then my sauteed chayote with broccoli, carrot and ground meat, seasoned with mushroom sauce for lunch and dinner too. I love it, very Filipino. That’s all for today’s meal prepping at home.

🌏MALUNGGAY NOODLE SOUP AT HAM -MORINGA NOODLE SOUP WITH HAM 👩🏻‍🍳iCook

👩‍🍳Because of curiosity, my first time to try this moringa noodle which I got from Himalayan Shop. Cooked in a soup and topped with sliced ham which I boiled in Orange juice from a Tetra pack. Served with half boiled egg and with vegetables too. Never stop me to experiment with different food fusions. Discovering a lot of new ingredients (for me) from the market, but prepared using flavours inherent to another culture is the considered form of fusion cuisine just like this. Do you agree with me, please comment down below and thank you.

🇵🇭FRIED RICE OUT OF LEFTOVER SPARERIBS & YELLOW BELL PEPER 👩🏻‍🍳iCook

👩‍🍳They said that fried rice most likely originated in China as a method of using up leftover rice. It’s been a while since we had any style of fried rice. I am too excited. This was an experiment with a new recipe for fried rice. Added leftover spareribs, garlic and yellow bell pepper which I got from Hofer. I have a lot of different varieties of fried rice on my blog. Most are pure experiments, maybe you can check it out if you’re looking for a recipe.

🇦🇹LIFESTYLE/ TREES & VIEWS NEAR MY WORK/ MARKET TIME WITH MY DAUGHTER

👩‍🍳Yes, lifestyle on my way to work sharing to you the view near my job and our way of catching each other with my daughter. Why the mother daughter’s day is important? On this day, mother and daughter benefit from a shared experience far away from stress and outside of their own four walls. The obligations are left out on this day and the cell phone is welcome to be switched off. This creates valuable time in which mother and daughter can let off steam, gossip and laugh to their hearts’ content. In stressful everyday life, we often overlook the other’s worries or we don’t even notice when mother or daughter is happy about a special event. But on the mother-daughter shopping day, there is enough time in addition to extensive shopping to address important topics. This common event welds mother and daughter together.

GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE in VIENNA

My family always loves it if I bring them with me anywhere where I decided to try something. But most of the time hubby and I.
