I tried this Lemon-Dill Sauce which I got from Ikea food stuff.  Plus their Salmon which is for me is cheaper than any other.

Salmon with Lemon-Dill Sauce – iCookiTravel

The recipe according to my preference since I’m diabetic, very careful with fat no oil at all not even olive oil and only salt to taste. Just simple as that and eaten with brown rice and green salad. Down here the procedure from my YOUTUBE CHANNEL, CHECK it out… GUTEN APPETIT!

Basically, I’m not good with kitchen stuff or utensils. I don’t ever bother myself how does it looks like the most important for me is it is a stuff which I can use for storage and serving food. I would never spend several thousand euros for this stuff, and I’m certainly not stingy. But sometimes I have wishes too…….

Got a new kitchen stuff last week. Which I ordered online from Lock and Lock!   An airtight container and bowls from Ikea, for “Lugaw” (Rice Porridge or Rice-Congee). Good for microwave, dishwashing maschine, refrigerator, virtuallyairtight and watertight! It has said to be that Lock holds tight and fresh!

The Lock & Lock multifunction boxes are genuine all-rounder. Whether at home or on the road; in the air- and water-tight cans keeping everything fresh, hygienic and safe. For the safety lock and the special silicone dual-chamber seal provide. Food stays fresh longer and aromas remain long. Intensive smells like fish or cheese remain closed, do not go to other foods over and does not spread in the fridge. The high-quality, transparent material of Lock & Lock boxes gives a good overview of all the stored supplies.

Bisphenol A may under certain circumstances cause health problems and should therefore not be used in the food industry. The Lock & Lock boxes are BPAfree and therefore safe for storage of food, including baby food. So take it away from me readers  😉

While the bowls I got it from Ikea for only one euro and seventy five cents each. Very cheap right, ideal for serving lugaw or even something with soup with matching soup bowl underliner too.

Something different from me! Wanted to try it again with the focus and blur!
If you want to have these noodles have to drive to IKEA, where they can be available for purchase!
Looking forward to hear your opinion!

For me Christmas is LOVE, therefore CHRISTMAS (PASKO/ WEIHNACHTEN) is a day of love. However, in many families sometimes it comes to conflict, because all are tired and stressed out by the preparations and the pressure of expectation. Hopefully this not your case by this time!
Apparently most people suffer from Christmas because they experience the holidays as extremely stressful. This begins during the festive season. Mostly in european countries.

Men get stressed because they have a hard time with the Gifts Search, women put themselves under pressure because they want everything planned and organized, it will be a peaceful Christmas and all are under time pressure, because Christmas once again so unexpectedly fast at the door stands.

But we Filipinos we are contented of what we have, where we are and even just for a small celebration. The most important is we celebrated it together with our family with all our LOVE to each and everyone of us.

On the 23rd of December we went for christmas shopping at IKEA (SCS-Shopping City Süd) with our dogs, daughter Didi-Grace she drove us and hubby. Picture down here she found time to play with Riyadh and Riyanah (our doggies)!

Ang sama-samang pag palamuti ng tunay na “Fir Tree” o Christmas Tree – The Ultimate well known around in the city of Vienna the Christmas tree. Although I still do not know why “how beautiful are thy leaves” and its smells wonderful during winter season. But I know that a beautiful Christmas tree is the alpha and omega of a successful Christmas in europe. From purchase of tree and decoration this year we got the decoration stuff from IKEA. Something different for a change as what we have every year!
Picture down our christmas tree bought by hubby, which is not finish-decorating hubby is not yet through with it.

Decorating christmas tree

Here (photo down), this was last year with our son Ronald-Louis and of course with Dad. 🙂  Picture down our christmas tree a plastic one, which is not finish-by decorating hubby is not yet through with it. That was 2 days before christmas.

We had lunch at IKEA Restaurant and while preparing the christmas tree at home hubby made “Turon” for merienda!

Lunch at IKEA and Hubby's Turon-Merienda

The reason why the christmas tree was not in time finished because we watched “Polar Express” from our files, every christmas season I love to watch it all over again 😛

Watching Polar Express and Christmas Tree not finish!

This was the last hours before the 24th of December, and yesterday (December 25) we sleep until noontime, puyat sa kapapanood ng film at home. Laze time for eveybody during christmas season, just at home… but happy.

We brought the whole family to the IKEA Restaurant for a delicious meal at an affordable price. After a half day shopping. They have a tasty special offer cooking at the restaurant each day of the week. Offers and menu options may vary by store like here at Shopping City Süd (South) in Vösendorf!

For my lunch I got chicken breast with mushrooms sauce and bread dumplings.
Main course and hot meals, the restaurant is in the middle of the store.

Besides hot meals, the restaurant offers lighter meals like salads and sandwiches with a Swedish flair. Cookies, cakes, desserts.

Lots of good desserts to choose from for those who think a meal is not complete without a sweet. Above here with mix fruit salad and sweet.

Like their Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes (picture above) this was my daughter’s lunch, and down here is with french fries was my son’s choice. Knäckebröd and six kinds of herring. Shopping is hard work, and while pickled herring may not be at the top of everyone’s wish list at mealtime unless you’re Swedish, but I’m not…lol…we’re pretty sure you’ll find something you like on their menu. Fresh, tasty, well-prepared and affordable is theirr food philosophy.

One more thing…stopping by the bistro on our way out and refuel before we hit the road. With their hot dogs, ice cream and more. Free refill drinks at IKEA, on coffee, tea and soft drinks too. What more could you ask!
