👩🏻‍🍳Working 10 hours a day is a bit exhausted. A bit is good to say. Thank God it’s only four days in a week but tiring too. Then coming back home you’re hungry. I wondered how to use up the few pieces of two different steaks in my fridge. Somehow in these situations, I often end up craving just simple cooking of steak without using any oil or fat serve with white rice and salad. Of course not to forget my daily intake of either smoothie or juicing fruits and vegetables. Turned out very well and although I was a bit over-full afterwards.

YOU NEED…….

I had these in the fridge; minute steaks and the one other kind. Then for salad a mixture of lettuce and green salad and yogurt dressing. Steaks seasoned with rosemary, salt and pepper. For smoothie green apple, banana, pineapple, avocado and almond milk. Served with white rice.

FOR ILOCANO TASTE BUDS:

Fried fish-horse mackerel, string beans or sitaw, dried jute leaves or saluyot, eggplant, red onion, tomato, sponge gourd or patola and seasoned with anchovy sauce or bagoong balayan. The fried fish added on top if the vegetables are nearly done. the way I love it.

RED SEA BREAM an old cooking video about 12 years or more. Fresh fish bought from Turkey Shop near us during winter time. these are small fish but if it is fresh taste good a bit soupy cooked with green tomatoes, onion and camote tops or talbos ng kamote from my terrace urban garden seasoned with just salt.

🇵🇭TOKWA-TINAPANG MACKEREL NA MAY LASWA/ TOFU-SMOKED MACKEREL WITH VEGETABLES

👩‍🍳I love vegetables, I grew up with vegetables.😅 Now I live in Europe, I cook this at least twice a week. And today another version of “LASWA” by this time with smoked mackerel. Also with squash, string beans, eggplant, jute leaves, red onion, tomato, chilli and seasoned with anchovy sauce or in Tagalog bagoong. Fried tofu as well. The soup was heavenly good. I love it.

🇨🇳STIR-FRY GREEN BEANS AND POACHED EGG

👩‍🍳Today I conjure up the variety of flavours of Chinese cuisine on your plate: there is a delicious fry made from fresh vegetables with spicy peppers and a wonderfully flavorful one. Black bean, ginger and hoisin sauce, in which you simply poach the egg. The whole thing is served excellently on fluffy-spawned sushi rice Simsalabim-sensational!

YOU NEED…….

150g Sushi Rice

250g Green Beans

1 Red Bell Pepper

1 Scallion

1 Peperoni, spicy

3 cloves Garlic

a piece of Ginger

50ml Black Beans Sauce

50ml Hoisin Sauce

2 Eggs

Salt to adjust the taste if needed

some Olive Oil
