Ham on stir fried Pancit Canton not only taste delicious, the recipe quick and easy to prepare using Mama Sita’s Pancit Bihon mix. The stir fried noodles with vegetables such broccoli 🥦 snow peas and carrot 🥕 is a healthy lunch recipe for the whole family.

Pancit Canton with Ham

YOU NEED…….

400g Pancit Canton

400g Ham

2 Carrots 🥕

1 head Broccoli 🥦

250g Snow Peas

1 pack Mama Sita’s pansit Bihon mix

1 Onion 🧅

4 cloves Garlic 🧄

some Vegetable Oil

some Salt

Peppers it has quite a kick. It tastes crisp and fresh, is versatile and trumps with a lot of nutrients on. Especially one ingredient boasts numerous benefits for the health and ensures moreover, for a slim waist. I always have for breakfast wether cooked or fresh.

While down is Green Bell Pepper with ham (Schinken), onion, garlic and beaten egg. Also served with brown bread for the kids of course it’s for breakfast too.

Whether red, orange, yellow or green even in the colors of choice. Added to this are various forms. While peppers are rather thick and round, red pepper have a longer and narrower shape. The different pepper varieties differ from each other in the taste. From mild to hot, the peppers in a variety of shades is healthy and delicious.

We know that pepper has large amounts of potassium, magnesium, zinc and calcium. In addition, the peppers are rich in vitamins, in addition to vitamins A and B, are particularly rich in vitamin C contained in it. Add red chili vitamin C content compared to other colored peppers are especially high. While 100 grams green peppers contain about 140 milligrams of vitamin C, it is 400 milligrams at a red tomato pepper. Thus the pepper is one of the vitamin C-rich foods at all.

SUNDAY FOODSTUFF (Yesterday)

We got up too late yesterday, hubby was at home no work. Kids sleep longer during weekends so we just cooked fried rice with  green peas, corn kernels and green beans and breaded rolled ham with emmentaler cheese for our brunch.

FRIED RICE AND BREADED ROLLED HAM WITH CHEESE

Before we went out we had something in the stomach but not only something it was a heavy one 🙂

There isn’t much planning ahead for Sunday if everybody at home.  I generally follow what my mind says.  It’s a time to experiment with unique combinations and bold flavors. And usually what we found in the refrigerator mostly left over will be use!   Our Sunday brunch have been fun and satisfying and I’d like to share  my recipe with you.  Follow your own instincts and palate and use these recipes as general thoughts. Vary them to suit your own style and season and of course not to forget the preferences of the whole family members!

YOU NEED…….

FOR FRIED RICE:

* 3 cups cold cooked rice

* 1 cup mixture of green peas, corn kernels and green beans

* some Canola Oil

* 4 cloves Garlic

* Salt

FOR BREADED ROLLED HAM WITH CHESSE:

YIELDS 4 Persons/ 3pcs. each!

* 1 cup Canola Oil, for deep frying

* 12 pcs. Emmentaler Cheese, sliced

* 12 pcs. Ham

* 3 Eggs, beaten

* some flour

* some bread crumbs

HOW TO…….

*  Yes, fried rice as usual.  Roll a slice emmentaler in ham. Cheese slices should be smaller that ham to avoid  too much leak of cheese. Pin up on both sides with toothpick. Ham roll in flour then in beaten egg, and then turn into breadcrumbs.  I don’t season with salt and pepper because the emmentaler cheese is already a little bit salty and in the egg I use to add a little bit salt!
*   Heat some canola oil, and the ham on both sides about 3-4 minutes fry nice tan.

* I served it on top of fried rice with yoghurt and chopped chive. Enjoy!

GOTO for DINNER

We came back home around  eight o’ clock at night. For dinner I cooked “Goto” (with pigs stomach)with lots of fried chopped garlic and chopped chive on top.  Served while hot good timing after a few hours walked from outside warmed the cold winter day!

PANCIT CANTON WITH HAM

The idea came because my hubby bought more than a kilo of sliced ham.
He said was too cheap on that day, there is this shop near us every week they use to sell different products at lower price but more quantity in german the so called “ANGEBOT” or SALE.
Sometimes 50% off from the normal price and you get the double quantity.

My son who’s not fun of eating vegetables, I was expecting that he will only choose the noodles and ham. But it turned out totally different as what my expectation…..he did ate vegetables as well.

YOU NEED…….

* 1 Pack of Pancit Canton
* 1/2 head Broccoli
* Green Beans, about 6 pcs.
* 1 pc. Carrot
* 1 medium-sized Onion
* some Vegetable powder or cube
* 3 tbsp. Vegetable Oil
* some Salt

HOW TO…….

Here are the ingredients once again (Photo down here):

The vegetable powder which I used here (Universal Spice) is a condiment which is a mixture of spices and various vegetables which compose of salt, vegetables lie carrot, parsnip, onions, celery, parsley leaves, flavour enhancers, sugar, spices, and cornstarch.

In a wok or pan, heat some vegetable oil and saute onion, carrot, broccoli and green beans. Season with vegetable powder. Add a little ammount of soup stock or water to cook the vegetables.

Add canton and cover until vegetables are done over lower heat, before serving add sliced ham and mix all together and serve while hot.
