🇪🇺PERCH FISH 🐟 AND BROCCOLI 🥦 – 👩🏻‍🍳iCookiTravel-Dolly

Perch fish and Broccoli

👩‍🍳Perch is great to eat. Fish tastes good and it’s healthy. Experts say, eating seafood more than twice a week, for most people, can be healthful. “For most individuals, it’s fine to eat fish every day,” Perch is a common name for fish of the genus Perca, freshwater gamefish belonging to the family Percidae. Because many of these fish live in cold waters, the meat has a high-fat content and is rich in fatty acids—healthy polyunsaturated fats. But, they’re low in saturated fat and high in protein. These fish are also good sources of vitamin D, selenium, phosphorus, iron, and iodine.

YOU NEED…….

2pieces Perch Fish

Rosemary

Salt and Pepper

Chili Flakes

1 whole head Broccoli

🇦🇹DINNER AT MOCHORITSCH GRIFFEN-RAST

👩‍🍳Mochoritsch – is not a conventional restaurant. It is a family-run inn with a heart, with products from their own fields. It forms a bridge to the south, where you can enjoy the alpine-Adriatic food culture. Coming back home from Tuscany, Italy we dropped by here to have our late lunch and dinner in one. I got my perch fish with potatoes and salad, while hubby had pork fillet with fries and salad too.

My hubby who meatatarian got this pork fillet with fries and salad as side dish. For him meat tastes really good than fish and vegetables. It provides precious protein, and it’s packed with fatty calories, an important consideration when food sources were precarious.

Perch fish and potatoes

Me the fish, seafoods and vegetables lover. I got perch fish again. eating this fish 5 days in a row.😅 I am a pescatarian, meaning term pescatarian was coined in the early 1990s and is a combination of the Italian word for fish, “Pesce,” and the word “vegetarian.”

BEEF MEAT

🌍BEEF STEW WITH SMOKY LATIN SEASONING AND My MELON-SPINACH-BANANA SMOOTHIE

👩‍🍳Use a spoonful or two when cooking protein, vegetables and grains as all-purpose seasoning instead of salty dried spice blends. Or use the whole jar as a recipe starter for 4-8 servings. I added carrot, celery, potato and sweet potato. Before serving add chopped parsley adjust the taste with salt if necessary. Because we are Filipino served with rice, tonight’s dinner is for two. LINGUINE in PALABOK SAUCE

Italian meets Filipino. That’s the highlight of this recipe. I cooked linguine with palabok sauce for Jen‘s (niece) birthday dinner instead of traditional Pancit or Sotanghon in the Philippines. For the toppings I had; small octopus, smoked mackerel flakes, mussels with scallions and crunchy fried onions. As a change from the well-known and popular spaghetti, many chefs regularly use the long, but not round, but flat linguine. These very narrow ribbon noodles are also sold under the name Trenette.

Linguine in palabok sauce

The origin of the pasta name Linguine is exciting. The word linguine is something like “little tongue” in Italian. The narrow ribbon noodles are not only sold under different names but can also if necessary be replaced by other narrow ribbon noodles such as the Bavette, for example. The linguine, which are also popularly referred to as linguini, originally come from the Campania region in Italy. Added with Filipino “Palabok” sauce the thick yellow-orange sauce.

YOU NEED…….

500g Linguine

2 small Octopus🐙, boiled

SAVOY CABBAGE-VEGGIE MEAL

👩‍🍳The Shakshuka is a popular dish in Levantine cuisine. A truly versatile one at that, because the vegetable casserole doesn’t suit me with delicious savoy cabbage, pumpkin and cannellini beans or just white beans. do not care about seasonal circumstances. Fresh sage and oriental spices refine the refined veggie meal, with crispy garlic baguette. The veggie meal on this Sunday afternoon.

🌎🌍CORNED BEEF-BROCCOLI 🥦HASH

#mealprepforfamily #lockdownday23 # covid19

Do you rinse off corned beef before cooking? Me not but they say that rinsing corned beef removes any excess salt from the meat. Resulting in a more mild flavor or boiling. Which I never tried yet. And some people recommend soaking in water for 24 hours in the fridge before cooking, to remove some saltiness. Well, I‘ll try next time I will let you know. Or any idea feel free to leave a comment down here. Thank you in advance. Please check out my YOUTUBE CHANNEL.
