🌏My SHRIMPS SOUP WITH TOFU and ENOKI MUSHROOMS IN SOYA MILK

👩🏻‍🍳Our dinner shrimps soup with tofu, enoki mushrooms, bok choi, beans sprout, lemongrass, and turmeric, season with fish sauce or patis cooked in soya milk. Using wheat noodles makes the soup complete topped with roasted onions.

HOW TO…….

YOU NEED…….

250g Noodles of your preference

100g Shrimps

half a cup of Soy Milk

some Water or about 2 Liters for the soup

1tsp. Chili Sauce

1 piece Lemon Grass

a thumb-sized Turmeric

bunch of Bok Choi

4 cake of Tofu

Inoki Mushrooms

a handful Beans Sprout

some crispy Onions for toppings

2 tbsps Fish Sauce or Patis

Adjust the taste with Salt if needed

👩‍🍳The Real Carbonara Spaghetti is not really creamy. The noodles are coated in eggs and cheese. Prosciutto is an Italian ham that is usually thinly sliced ​​and served uncooked. 1 Yellow Bell Pepper

200g Brown Champignon

1 pc. Zucchini

1pc. Turnip cabbage

🇪🇺DINNER: SANDWICH with EGG OMELETTE and BACON PLUS POMELO LASSI

👩‍🍳A hearty sandwich with crispy bacon, arugula and spinach, fresh cucumber and sweet mustard is just what you need! The crowning glory between the bun halves is an omelette refined with melting cheese. Served with a lassi with yogurt and pomelo. I am sure that your subjects will be delighted too! And that’s my hubby my simple Sandwich for our dinner.

YOU NEED…….

RECIPE YIELDS FOR 2 PERSONS

Haft Pomelo

250 g Yogurt

1 Pack of Bacon or 6 slices

A handful mixture of Arugula and Spinach

2 Eggs

1 Pack of grated Cheese

6 slices cucumber

2pieces Bun

2tbsps. Mustard, I used White sausage mustard

1tbsp Honey

150ml Water. cold

Whole Grain Spaghetti – iCookiTravel

Taking my lunch box for work, leftover spaghetti from my son’s dinner.  In Italian— “i PESTI con BASILICO E RUCOLA” in french— “avec BASILIC et ROQUETTE”, topped with Parmesan Cheese. There is nothing wrong with reheating it in the next day. The texture will be slightly different it will very likely have lost some of its bite, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t perfectly edible and it really would be “SHAME” to waste it. Not with me, in some part of the world people don’t have enough to eat!

My son’s viand Boiled Beef (Nilagang Baka) with corn cob and cabbage, family’s old time favorit. I remember my daughter the first time we flew to manila with Singapore airline, the steward asked her what she wants to eat and she said if they have rice with soup, meat and corn cob, that’s what she wants to eat! the steward answered; she had only noodle soup! 😀

My sauteed vegetables crisp healthy and delicious  for dinner of three. With mung bean, snow peas, chinese cabbage or pechay, in a very small amount of oil over relatively high heat, with a little bit of sliced pork shoulder.  On of my favorit dish at all time. Guten Appetit!

My son’s request of the day, spaghetti with ground meat and zucchini. If zucchini or courgette in season the price is as low as 99 cent per kilo. A summer aquash they call it  in america, low in cholesterol and helps maintain a balance of carbohydrates. works great for heart because of fiber. Ihances digestion and  improves eye health too. And of course hepls control diabetes.

A classic recipe for steamed mussels with white wine is a quick and easy thing to do with for Saturday dinner for two. Richer in magnesium, iron, iodine, and nitrate. Chicken Breast Fillet in Pesto Rosso- iCookiTravel

Sunday best, when your son visited and you know you have to cook 👩‍🍳 for him. Just another cooking 🥘 experimental for me. I bought this Pesto Rosso for about three weeks now and today I tried to use it not for pasta 🍝 as many of you knows but with chicken 🐔 breast fillet. I also added an organic mustard which turned out good and perfect 👌🏻 taste combination.✅👍😇

YOU NEED…….

Yields three Persons

* 400 g Chicken breast fillet

* 3 pcs. Red Peppers 🌶 of medium sized

* 1pc. Zucchini or Courgette of small sized

* 3 tbsp. Pesto Rosso

* 1 and 1/2 tbsp. Organic Mustard

* some Olive Oil

* some Salt to adjust the taste

HOW TO…….

* Heat a pan, then add olive oil to sauté zucchini, peppers 🌶 and chicken breast fillet. Stir until meat is half way done. Then stir in Pesto Rosso and organic Mustard. To adjust the taste I used salt. Happy 😌 Cooking 🥘 Guten Appetit! 😇

Another sauteed vegetables for family viand that goes with hubby’s pan fried chicken and pork belly.  kids loves it coming home from a heavy day eating a heavy meal later of the day. They used to eat around 6 pm. it is linner for us.

Pickled Cabbage with Frankfurter and bell Peppers-iCookiTravel

Pickled cabbage sauteed with frankfurter, bell peppers, onion, chili paste, paprika powder, a little bit catchup and pepper. Red-hot and sharp! For those who eat it with rice needs a lot, just like my family.  I used to eat it with my diabetic bread or bun.

I think I wrote the caption incorect! Pumpkin, Bok Choy or Pak Choi, and Egplant sauteed with garlic, red onion, tomatoe and a bit of pork belly for familie’s viand. A very brilliant way to get the kids eat some vegetables. Pumpkin is still cheaper in the month of November, while Pak choi we get it here in Vienna all year round from chinese and indian shop.

What are the best pasta sauce for you? With the huge selection of super delicious variants, the choice is too difficult but for sure everybody has its own favorite the way you like it or according to your preferences.  Picture above, one of my fave sauce ever,for pasta zucchini with ground meat sauteed in olive oil with red onion. lots of garlic, oregano, chopped parsley, tomatoe paste and tomatoe sauce.

STUFFED SQUID-iCookiTravel

This is my version of fried stuffed squids. Succulent tender squid stuffed with mix ground meat (pork and beef), onion, fried garlic, chopped potatoes, carrots, cheese and fried to perfection. To make sure that the squid remains tender and juicy, do not overcook them.

YOU NEED…….

* 4 pcs. big Squid, cleaned with head
* 1 Onion, chopped
* 2 pcs. medium sized Potatoes
* 1 big Carrot
* about 250 g Ground meat, (I used mix pork and beef)
* fried garlic
* Cheese
* some Vegetable oil for frying

Here courgette and carrots sauteed with turkey breast seasoned with marjoram and salt. I tell you I could finish  two cups or more of this without  any side dish not even bread.

Cooking fried fish, with ginger, onion, scallions and peppers added a little bit of water just enough to cook the fish seasoned with salt and pepper.  I got it from Naschmarkt so fresh and it is almost six euro per kilo, for a change.

This was upgraded soup noodles which I added meatballs, poached egg and chopped parsley. Poached eggs are the most luxurious preparation for eggs.  Add a poached egg to your bowl of soup you made it fancier, and  into a meal. So try it Folks!

Maracuja cake or Passion fruit cake for August birthday celebrant. My daughter who celebrated her 23rd  birthday last 18th of August, she got this from me. Some versions of this cake also include a passion fruit mousse sandwhiched between layers of the sponge. It is best served the day it is made.

Banana- Saba, boiling it for my meal is healthy snack for diabetics. Since a half cup of fruit every dinner is allowable for diabetics, it is perfectly fine to regularly include the saba in one’s meal or diet. One must be noted that the ideal snack for diabetic is the boiled banana saba. Since banana is high in fiber, eating banana is heavy on the belly, it is one way of driving down one’s appetite so that one is prevented from overeating.

Turkey grills made from finely chopped turkey breast meat, marinated, on the spit, fresh for grilling or frying pan. Salad with cucumber, arugula, tomatoe, onion, and balsamic dressing so with my grain spitz or grain roll. Was my first meal after six hours of duty. There you have it, but not all. GUTEN APPETIT!
