๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณAnother creation from my kitchen. I got these Sausages which is good to be added to the vegetables that I have on hand at home. Namely eggplant, zucchini, yellow and green bell peppers, red onion, scallions, tomatoes from our terrace urban garden and parsley. Seasoned with just salt. Turned out good again hubby and we ate it all with my red rice and for hubby as usual his all-time fave white rice.

YOU NEED……

1kg White Sausages out of Chicken (or about 12 pieces)

some Parsley

Olive Oil

1 Reda Onion

5 pieces Cherry Tomato

1 Zucchini

1 Eggplant

Scallions

Red, Yellow and Green Bell Pepper each one

Salt to taste

Yum๐Ÿ˜‹

Last Friday, our Friyay brekky (with daughter) toast with avocado ๐Ÿฅ‘ boiled egg ๐Ÿฅš arugula and cherry ๐Ÿ’ tomatoes ๐Ÿ… yummy ๐Ÿคค

Salmon head “sinigang” (sour soup) ๐Ÿฅฃ for Hubby’s dinner ๐Ÿฝ I cooked ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ With lots of water spinach (kangkong).

We watched the movie ๐Ÿฟ ๐ŸŽฅ “Hello Love Goodbye” relate much with the story occurring in reality drawn from actual situations mostly for Filipinos OFW.

Yummy ๐Ÿ˜‹ foodies at Vienna Film ๐ŸŽฅ Festival 2019 infront of City Hall. The popular summer event the 29th Film Festival, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Vienna State Opera.

WORLD VEGAN DAY

Today is the 10th celebration of WORLD VEGAN DAY. The World Vegan Day is an international day of action, the first time was on November 1, 1994 was held on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the Vegan Society and is celebrated every year since then on November 1st. Vegan diets, is the complete surrender of all animal foods, is becoming popularly increasing. On the occasion of WORLD VEGAN DAY I do not want to explain why this is good for animals and the environment for once-but let pictures speak:

From the farm to my kitchen, green beans cooked with some frankfurter, flour, yoghurt and broth cube or vegeta.

Bell peppers as sauce for pasta with onions, garlic, tomatoe paste and peeled tomatoes seasoned with Italian herbs, vegeta, salt and pepper.

Here is another one also pure veggies. Saluyot (Jute Leaves) with string beans and winged bean (Pallang) seasoned with anchovy sauce.

The relationship between humans and animals is such a thing. Somehow always seems to chase the other one. Eventually, the man then began to move from hunting to grow. Today, a meat-eater eats during his life around 1064 animals, according to the Association for the Environment and Nature Protection. But he just needs to relax the freezer stroll along. Only vegans do it all, to renounce the killing – added with some effort. For example, the egg can not be replaced quite easily while baking. To mark World Vegantages they showed images of animals that end else in the laboratory, like clothes, as a handbag or simply on the plate.

RAGUOT

RAGUOT or peppering meat is a dish of stewed or steamed, mostly small meat, poultry, or fish pieces or mushrooms and other ingredients in a spicy, creamy sauce often just like this. There are three different ideas which I’m sharing here to you my recipe. Both I used pork meat and the last one is with vegetables.

Here above is Pork belly with bell peppers and onions. Just cut the meat into small pieces so with onion and bell peppers. Saute first the meat in a little bit ammount of canola oil, add onion and bell peppers, then cover for five minutes with a half cup of water until meat is tender and over low heat or low fire. Seasoned with broth cube, salt and pepper. The sauce is not that much just what left from the water I added to let meat tender.

Here above is almost the same procedure the only different is I seasoned it with “TOYOMANSI”, salt and pepper only with onion rings. Looks like the classic “FILIPINO ADOBO” ๐Ÿ˜‰

And here is the perfect RAGUOT of the day with vegetables and sauce. Dinner for tonight just finish it cooking. Everybody are at home and looking forward for a warm dinner. So I did ๐Ÿ˜›

YOU NEED…….

* Pork Belly about half a kilo (Yields four persons)
* 2 pcs. Onions
* 2 pcs. medium-sized Carrots
* 1 small Pechay Baguio (China Kohl)
* some Flour or 3 tbsps. Flour
* 1 cup or 500g of Yogurt
* 1 pc. Broth Cube
* Salt and Pepper
* some Water water

HOW TO…….

Heat a wok or pan, add some Canola oil and saute meat in it.

Add onion, carrots and Broth Cube. Mix it all together.

Combine or mix 3 table spoon of flour and yogurt. And pour it to the mixture while stirring.

Then add Pechay and mix again. Cover for about 5 minutes until done, over low heat or low fire.
Adjust seasoning if necessary with salt and pepper. Serve with hot rice a typical Filipino always with rice ๐Ÿ˜›

BREAKFAST TIPS

Peppers it has quite a kick. It tastes crisp and fresh, is versatile and trumps with a lot of nutrients on. Especially one ingredient boasts numerous benefits for the health and ensures moreover, for a slim waist. I always have for breakfast wether cooked or fresh.

While down is Green Bell Pepper with ham (Schinken), onion, garlic and beaten egg. Also served with brown bread for the kids of course it’s for breakfast too.

Whether red, orange, yellow or green even in the colors of choice. Added to this are various forms. While peppers are rather thick and round, red pepper have a longer and narrower shape. The different pepper varieties differ from each other in the taste. From mild to hot, the peppers in a variety of shades is healthy and delicious.

We know that pepper has large amounts of potassium, magnesium, zinc and calcium. In addition, the peppers are rich in vitamins, in addition to vitamins A and B, are particularly rich in vitamin C contained in it. Add red chili vitamin C content compared to other colored peppers are especially high. While 100 grams green peppers contain about 140 milligrams of vitamin C, it is 400 milligrams at a red tomato pepper. Thus the pepper is one of the vitamin C-rich foods at all.

MONDAY FOODSTUFF AT HOME

Stocks is not for everyone. Not all people having a stock of food stuff at home. If you’re hungry but no food at home, you still do not have to starve – not even on Sunday but today is Monda, tha start of the week. And for sure you have some food that you always love to have at home. So it is Monday and no plan at all to go out. What we have in refrigerator that will be cook for today. Let us start for todays breakfast ๐Ÿ˜€

CHICKEN HOT DOG

We still have this chicken hot dog which I bought for quite some time at new India shop near us. I bought it just for a try, for us it is something new.

Hubby’s version of chicken hotdog for breakfast. It is with beaten egg and
chopped chive seasoned with salt and pepper. ๐Ÿ™‚

And this is my version also with beaten egg but I added also tomatoes, onion, and red bell pepper. Our two kids ate both version with buns.

AMPALYA WITH EGG and TOMATOES

Now we don’nt have lunch at home. At work we have this employees Canteen. Coming back home in the afternoon we both; hubby and I prepared this meal.
Just because your fridge is empty, it does not automatically mean that you have nothing to eat at home really. With a little imagination and skill, you can whip up a tasty meal also alleged residues. For me enough with stir-fry bitter gourd (melon/ ampalaya) with tomatoe, onion and beaten egg. Now for sure you will ask me why again with eggs! ๐Ÿ˜›
Eggs in the morning for breakfast then again eggs for dinner! Yes you read it right! That’s what we have in refrigerator today and two pieces of “Ampalaya” (bitter gour/melon). However, of course…the more ingredients are available, the more refined your cooking can be.

BEEF MEAT WITH MAIS AND PECHAY

Fortunately hubby found a pack of beef meat with a litte bit bone in ‘chill pack’. In his mind to have a soup “Nilaga” (boiled beef) woud be good. weather outside, it’s rainng…perfect isn’t it! ๐Ÿ˜‰
It goes with a bunch of Pechay too left over from my “Tilapia Guinataan with Pechay the other day. Seasoned with “Patis” (fish sauce) and pepper corn.

We don’t have any fear of having dry food, I mmean without any sauce or just fried and sauteed. But if you have a chance and the ingredients at home have some soup this make you feel satiable. Because even a tasty roux can be prepared without much effort and especially without a lot of ingredients. very general rule is that you should do a little experiment with the simple, what you see on your shelves of food. With a little creativity can also be made โ€‹โ€‹of dry ingredients conjure up a delicious meal. Well, on Wenesday or Friday time to do some shopping for stocks and maybe on Satuday hubby should get some meat and fish too. ๐Ÿ˜‰
This is our Monday Food Stuff at home don’t ask me about dessert or “Panghimagas” because the answer is nothing!

BREAKFAST WITH ME

Last Saturday, not the day before last Sunday (March 15, 2014) an unusual breakfast was held at our home. Actually it is a brunch, because we got up late-Vienna Time – 14:17 (2:17 pm)!

Fried rice with grilled eggplant seasoned with sauteed shrimp paste, tomatoes, spring onions and chili flakes. Beside grilled eggplant with beaten egg for my daughter! If you are living in the vicinity of europe this kind of breakfast or brunch is unusual, only exist in the Philippines ๐Ÿ˜›

Sliced green bell pepper and apple plus sliced brown bread and beaten egg with bacon is my daughter’s fave for this week!

Cheese, mini tomatoes and brown bread for breakfast

Cheese for breakfast, which first catches the eye. It is even more important, so that breakfast not only looks good, but also at least as good taste with mini tomatoes and brown bread.

Breakfast for my colleagues

This was breakfast I prepared for my colleagues at Baxter. And Jana, one of my fave colleague baked this poppyseed-apple cake. I tell you was so…good!
With all these variety cold-cuts which I brought, different kinds of pickeled olives, turkey cheese and gouda cheese, boiled eggs, semmel (the famous austrian ban), french roll (Baguett), sliced brown bread, plum jam, sliced bell peppers: red, green and yellow (which is not in the picture), and butter.

Gaby's birthday treat

While this above was a breakfast treat by Gaby, also one of my colleague at work. Also a heavy one but so exciting just like what I’d prepared two weeks ago. It gives us and makes efficient work easily that day. We had fun during that break time before we continue the Saturday duty. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oatmeal and Coffee with cinnamon powder

Yesterday’s breakfast for both of us, daughter and I. Oatmeal is high in fiber was a delicious breakfast choice. They said Oatmeal is very healthy and should be in every diet plan. Especially for building muscle, oatmeal offer many advantages, which you should definitely take advantage of. Oatmeal reduce Cholesterol value. To achieve this effect, it is necessary to eat oatmeal regularly. Simple and easy to prepare. I add a little bit of Natreen (a brand for a sweetener) instead of sugar and cooked with milk and given a little bit twist with cinnamon powder just the same with my coffee, adde before serving. Have a try so you know what I mean ๐Ÿ˜‰

DINNER AT HOME THE LAST FEW DAYS

A family dinner at home is much more beautiful than eating out. Aside from that it is also cheaper. A delicious recipe that really goes full quickly and is not too expensive! Try this one among my experiment at all ๐Ÿ™‚

YOU NEED…….

* 500g Pork Meat I use crest or neck of pork (not too fat all)
* 4 pcs. Potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
* 2 pcs. Carrots, peeled and sliced
* a handful Green peas
* 2 pcs. medium-sized Tomatoes, peeled and chopped
* 1 medium-sized Onion, peeled and cut into cubes
* 1 Broth Cube
* 2 tbsps. Paprika Powder
* a pinch of Chili Flakes (for those whoo are not fan of spicy and hot you can ommit Chili Flakes)
* some salt and pepper
* Canola Oil for sauteing
* some water or soup stock

HOW TO…….

* Heat some oil and brown the meat, add onion, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, green peas paprika powder and saute. Add some water or soup stock not much just enough to tender the meat and potatoes. Seasoned with broth cube, salt and pepper, and add chili flakes. For those who are not friend of hot stuff you can omit chili flakes. Adjust seasoning with broth cube or salt. Serve with rice and enjoy your dinner ๐Ÿ˜›

HUBBY'S TOCINO and BELL PEPPER SALAD

Yesterday’s dinner at home, hubby’s Tocino and my Bell Peppers salad!
Just mix all together yellow and red bell peppers, spring onions, onion, and tomatoes. For dressing I used Balsamico (Balsamic Vinegar) salt and pepper to taste and a pinch of chiliflakes that’s it! Take it away from me Folks ๐Ÿ˜‰

"BABOY sa BAGOONG" with TOMATOE PASTE

Adapted from original “Baboy sa Bagoong”, instead of adding tomatoes I added tomatoe paste, parika powder and chili flakes. Using canola oil for sauteing!

YOU NEED…….

* 2 tbsps. Tomatoe Paste

HAMBURGER FOOD COMBINING RECIPE

A very wonderful Hamburger Food Combining recipe I’ve tried out a few days ago, for the kids. The ground is very soft, but is immediately compact when placed in the pan. The best that goes with a ladle. The patties are super juicy, have all tasted the same and are moved into the standard cookbook.

My Hamburger Food Combining Recipe

I served it with my homemade potatoe salad and of course with rice.

YOU NEED…….

* 1 kg Ground meat
* 2 pcs. Onions, finely chopped
* 1 bunch Parsley, finely chopped
* 4 cloves Garlic, peeled and finely chopped
* Salt and Pepper
* 5 pcs. Eggs

HOW TO…….

My Hamburger Mixture

In a bowl mixed all ingredients. The ground meat is fairly soft.

My Pan-Fried Hamburger for Viand

With a Ladle portions in the greased pan-fry. They are compact immediately when they come into the hot fat. After a few minutes and turn on the other side also brown. Serve with potatoe salad and rice.
