GASTRONOMIC ADVENTURE in VIENNA

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณA sort of tourism that is based on visiting food festivals, restaurants and special places in order to taste a special and not so special type of food, to watch the food being produced or to eat food cooked by a famous chef, and today it is quite popular also for me as an individual. My family always loves it if I bring them with me anywhere where I decided to try something. But most of the time hubby and I. I don’t want to sound like an epicure, but when it comes to food my love is there at the highest level sometimes I am delighted in fine food. STOPOVER-PODERSDORF am SEE BURGENLAND

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณPodersdorf am See is a market town with 2126 inhabitants on the east bank of Lake Neusiedl in northern Burgenland. The place is the centre of tourism in Seewinkel with on Lake Neusiedl. It was a short stopover in the countryside after our hiking in Bad Sauerbrunn. Worthy to experienced the scenic itinerary here.๐Ÿ˜Š

ANOTHER HIKING DAY with MY DOG MARY๐Ÿถ๐Ÿ•

Another hiking day for the three of us, my niece and daughter with my doggy Mary and her mom Riyana my daughter’s dog.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณI’m a type 2 diabetic hiking is also recommended, as it lowers the risk of cardiovascular diseases and increases physical and mental well-being. However, diabetes patients should keep an eye on their blood sugar levels when hiking to avoid fluctuations in blood sugar. Sport is important for diabetes patients. Moderate but regular physical activity improves the performance of the heart, the oxygen supply and lowers the blood sugar level. FUN-HIKE on WEEKEND

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸณRecreation area Wienerwald. Great hikes are possible. Take the opportunity on days when not everyone comes up with the idea of โ€‹โ€‹going to the zoo, then you have the opportunity to go for a walk without being disturbed by the crowds. That’s what we did just to unwind from the city with COVID-19. Almost two months lockdown. Hiking and any other sort of physical activity is a great way to unwind from the stresses. In order to prevent blood sugar fluctuations when hiking or physical activities, diabetes patients should protect themselves by taking regular measurements. Hiking is particularly popular in splendid weather, although hiking is also very suitable for people with diabetes. However, diabetes patients must take care that they prevent severe fluctuations in blood sugar. Because exercise and physical exertion can both lower and increase blood sugar.

Throwback, some of my home food prepping during the time my cousin Gie and her son was with us. During their Europe vacation.

That was linner, the first meal I prepared for my cousin Gie and her son. Oven trout, salad, Sarma ( stuffed cabbage), and knuckle of pork (Stelze) and because we are Filipinos rice is a must!

Here again brekky with boiled Frankfurter, toast bread, strawberry in sour cream, coffee and tea. The time my cousin Gie and her son took their vacation in Vienna. Of course my doggy Mary and Riyad also on the picture.

My spaghetti requested by Noah, Gie’s son (cousin). Bolognese is the sauce I made for them with grana padano cheese plus salad and sliced apples. Someone requested for coffee and tea too.

Food memories brekky a la Pinoy (Filipino) too heavy never again! Imagine; fried rice, longganisa, fried tuyo, scrambled eggs, sunny side egg, and for dipping vinegar with chili spicy of course plus tea and coffee Jesus Christ! What unhealthy life style never again!

Fancy exercise the human body is programmed to exercise. YOU NEED…….

This Recipe yields for two persons.

300g minced Beef

2pcs. medium-sized Onion (I used 1 red for burger and 1 white for patties)

3 cloves Garlic

1tbsp. Tomatoe paste

1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

1tsp. Cumin powder

1tsp. Paprika

some Salt

some Olive oil

1/4 head Iceberg Lettuce

4tbsp. Yogurt 1.5% fat

Lentils with smoked ribs and spinach. I love lentils, it is highly recommended for diabetics. Due to the high fiber content, it enters to the blood slowly also high in protein content.
