👩‍🍳Shrimp is one of those crustaceans that anyone can afford. Nevertheless, they are among the culinary delights of seafood. There are several thousand types of shrimp, only a few of which are important for consumption. Tonight’s dinner for two is a quick-easy shrimps-vegetable-riece bowl. We just got back home from 10 hours duty both of us. This is our daily routine, Vienna life.

YOU NEED…….

1tbsp. Olive Oil

1piece Tomato

4 cloves Garlic, sliced

250g Shrimps

20g Mix Vegetable with Cauliflower, Carrot, Corn kernels, and Green Peace

Some Salt to taste

🇵🇭KALABASA UKOY NA MAY HIPON/ SQUASH “UKOY” WITH SHRIMPS

👩‍🍳I remember those times when I was a little girl in Mandaluyong City, Philippines. My late nanay (mother) used to buy it from any “carinderia” near our house. My cousin Ching2 and I love to finish them all with dunking sauce composed of vinegar, chopped garlic and a little bit of powdered pepper. hmmm…….we love it! For sure if she will read this Blog of mine nowadays, she’ll agree with me.

YOU NEED…….

1/4 Head Squash

a handful Beans Sprout

1 1/2 cup Flour

1 1/2 cup Cornstarch

1/3 cup Mama Sita’s Palabok Shrimp Gravy Mix

3/4 cup cold Water

2 pieces Carrot, shredded

1/4 cup scallions

12 pieces Shrimps, peeled and deveined

1 piece Tofu, cut lenghtwise

some Olive Oil

FOR DIPPING:

3tbsps Sweet and Sour Sauce

2tbsps Vinegar

pounded Garlic

🌍🌏PANANGHALIAN-LUTONG BAHAY/ EATING AS MEDICINE-HOMECOOKED FOOD/ JUICING

👩‍🍳Ilocos, located at the northern tip of the Philippines is bordered by the China Sea. That’s the place where my late father and hubby came from. Both are from Ilocos Sur. The reason why I love this dish so much especially the choices of vegetables that are usually added in this dish. If you see me cooking lots of meat, that’s for family. I prefer eating more vegetables than meat especially the green leafy ones. Here is today’s lunch cooked by my hubby and my Juicing with beetroot, carrot, apple and ginger makes this lunch for two so perfect for “Eating as Medicine”! Squash or Kalabasa

Horseradish or Bunga ng Malunggay

Anchovy sauce or Bagoong

some Water

You can adjust the taste with Fish Sauce

🌏My SHRIMPS SOUP WITH TOFU and ENOKI MUSHROOMS IN SOYA MILK

👩🏻‍🍳Our dinner shrimps soup with tofu, enoki mushrooms, bok choi, beans sprout, lemongrass, and turmeric, season with fish sauce or patis cooked in soya milk. Using wheat noodles makes the soup complete topped with roasted onions.

HOW TO…….

YOU NEED…….

250g Noodles of your preference

100g Shrimps

half a cup of Soy Milk

some Water or about 2 Liters for the soup

1tsp. Chili Sauce

1 piece Lemon Grass

a thumb-sized Turmeric

bunch of Bok Choi

4 cake of Tofu

Inoki Mushrooms

a handful Beans Sprout

some crispy Onions for toppings

2 tbsps Fish Sauce or Patis

Adjust the taste with Salt if needed

🇵🇪PERUVIAN STYLE FISH FILLET SERVED WITH TURMERIC RICE AND SALAD

👩‍🍳Peruvian cuisine is gaining more and more fans worldwide! This is due, among other things, to its enormous versatility, to which the different climatic zones and the fish-rich Humboldt Current contribute. It’s only logical that tender hake ends up on our plates today. There is also a colorful variety of vegetables made from corn, paprika, sweet potatoes, cucumber with fragrant coriander and a sour-tart grapefruit dressing. Wow!

Today it is all about cooking horse mackerel with eggplant and zucchini, one-pot cooking using my Saladmaster Skillet. Cooked in vinegar, with red onion and ginger topped with scallions. Goes with my Turmeric-basmati rice at our dinner last night. Jesus after 10 hours of duty doing something you love is also a release from long day work. happy prepping and Guten appetit!

👩🏻‍🍳What looks exclusive, but doesn’t make a lot of work and uses even fewer dishes? Right, this refined shrimp and vegetable crouton gratin! 👩‍🍳Since last week I was craving for this. Luckily my hubby bought me alugbati in Tagalog, vine spinach or malabar. So craving satisfaction fulfilled today with sotanghon and Ligo sardines from the Philippines. Served or I ate with brown rice. Simple things that make me happy. Happy prepping people. 200g Sotanghon or Mung Bean thread
