🇰🇷My BULGOGI SPARERIBS WITH VEGGIES

👩‍🍳My bulgogi spareribs with cabbage, champignon and carrot cooked in my Saladmaster Skillet. Freshly cooked by iCookiTravel aka Dolly yours truly. It was our dinner last night with my daughter and her friend. If you notice Bulgogi is one of my favorite Korean cuisines. So easy to follow and you can buy this ready-made bulgogi marinade from a Korean shop. Served with fried and plain rice.

YOU NEED…….

1kg Spareribs

1 whole head Garlic, peeled and crushed or grind

1 Carrot

1/4 head Cabbage

250g Champignon

1/2 cup of Bulgogi BBQ Marinade

Salt or Soy Sauce to adjust the taste

some Olive oil

🇪🇺🇵🇭CALF or VEAL SOUP with GARLAND CHRYSANTHEMUM

👩🏻‍🍳The hearty recipe for veal soup with vegetables tastes wonderful as a first course in the cold season. And for vegetables, I added carrot, wide green beans and garland chrysanthemum. All chrysanthemum flowers are edible, but the flavour varies widely from plant to plant, from sweet to tangy to bitter or peppery. It may take some experimentation to find flavors you like.

300g Calf or Veal meat from neck part with bones

some Pepper corns

1 Red Onion

3pieces Bay leaves

150g Wide Green Beans

2pieces Chillis, green

2 Carrot

A bunch og Garland Chrysanthemum

3/4 cup Fish Sauce for seasoning

POTATO 🥔 GREEN BEANS with BERNER SAUSAGE

The green beans with potatoes and sausage recipe is a classic when things have to go fast. Also good tastes good to little ones! A great side dish or main course. But today it is our breakfast. The combination of potatoes, green beans, onions, and sausages is perfect. Sausages can be replaced with another sausage that you prefer and you can also add any other ingredients varied and good.

YOU NEED…….

Some Herb🌿 Butter

1 Onion 🧅

1 Tomato 🍅

1 Small Chili 🌶

100g Green Beans

2pieces Berner Sausage

2 Large boiled Potatoes 🥔

1tsp Cumin Powder

Salt 🧂 and Pepper

Chopped Parsley

Served with Bread 🍞 🥖

SAUTÉED BEETROOT LEAVES-CHICKEN BURGER

👩‍🍳Why are beetroot leaves so good? The leaves are very healthy and they also look beautiful. Those are two good reasons. Oh yes, the whole thing tastes good too. They contain calcium, iron, and vitamins A and C. Here beetroot leave steamed or boiled but this time I sautéed as a side dish for a chicken burger our dinner. Beetroot leaves are like spinach and have shrivelled. So take enough for cooking if you love it just like me.

YOU NEED…….

400g Beetroot leaves

5 to 6 cloves Garlic 🧄

2tbsp Olive oil

Salt 🧂and fresh ground Pepper

a handful Sunflower 🌻 seeds, roasted without oil

Chicken Patties made out of minced chicken breast season with Worcestershire sauce, garlic 🧄 a bit of bread crumbs and salt 🧂

Tagalog version of this blog for today’s entry. All about green leafy vegetables from our terrace urban gardening, my hubby’s cooking Ilocano style.

Gulay mula sa terrace gardening

👩‍🍳Mga naaning gulay sa aming terase na puro dahon, talbos ng kalabasa, talbos ng kamote at kangkong na sinahugan ng inihaw na manok pero yong pakpak lang at kaunting laman dahil ayaw ko nang maraming karne natimplahan ng bagoong. Siyang tanghalian naming mag asawa ngayon. Simpleng lutong bahay at mga gulay na hindi binili lahat ay nagmula sa sariling tanim sa ika anim na palapag ng gusali na aming tinitirahan dito sa Vienna. Masustansiya at walang halong kemikal. Niluto ng aking asawa. Pagkaing bilang gamot sa mga may diabetes.

BEEF PICADILLO STEW

Traditionally, Picadillo was cooked with either beef and chayote, or beef and potatoes in my country. My mother who was a really fantastic cook used to make both versions, depending on which vegetable was available. Picadillo is a traditional dish in many Latin American countries and in the Philippines. It is made from different types of fish, including tuna and tilapia, with tomatoes, raisins, olives and other ingredients that vary by region.

400g Beef Meat 🥩 for stewing

2 pieces Chayote or Sayote

1 Potato 🥔

1 Carrot 🥕

1 Onion 🧅

4 cloves Garlic 🧄

1 Liter of Water for cooking meat 🥩

Salt and Pepper to taste

3tbsps Olive oil

SIMPLE BEEF BROCCOLI

👩‍🍳Beef with broccoli Asia-style is quick to prepare, with bell pepper and served with sesame seeds & rice, the recipe is a pleasure. I used pre-cooked beiried beef or the so-called strip loin steak. Cut the beef as thinly as possible. For the sauce, a mixture of hoisin sauce and soy sauce a little bit of water just to cook broccoli. Here’s the proof not only complicated dishes but also very simple dishes can taste great.

500g Beef Beiried or Strip Loin Steak, pre- cooked

3tbsps Sunflower 🌻 oil

1 Onion 🧅

A thumb-sized Ginger

Haft a head of Broccoli 🥦

1 Bell Pepper

Scallions

4tbsps Water just to cook broccoli 🥦

Some Salt

SAUCE:

20g Hoisin Sauce

50g Soy Sauce

PORK BELLY and STRING BEAN

👩‍🍳For me, a good adobo sauce is naturally thick. The cooked dish is almost dry. Matter of preference, I love my adobong string bean a little bit sour and almost dry. The pork belly should absorb the flavours of vinegar, Mama Sita’s BBQ marinade and soy sauce. And a little bit oily. Here adobong string bean or sitaw with pork belly. Serve with hot brown rice that makes my lunch so perfectly prepared!

2tbsp Vinegar

3tbsps Soy Sauce

CHINESE CABBAGE ROLL

👩‍🍳A Chinese cabbage roll filled with minced meat is a welcome change. Here is the recipe for cooking and trying it out. The Chinese cabbage vegetable is a healthy all-rounder in the kitchen. It is particularly mild and well-tolerated and can be served raw, cooked or cooked. This cabbage plant has the characteristic mustard oils, which are among the secondary plant substances and thus strengthen our immune system. Chinese cabbage harmonises wonderfully with Asian wok dishes. It tastes particularly good when to cut into thin strips. The vegetables are also ideal for pickling and fermenting. This recipe yields for four persons.

300ml Vegetable broth or Water for cooking rice

50g Dried Tomato 🍅

4tbsp Olive Oil or any Vegetable Oil

a handful chopped Cilantro

1tbsp Tomato 🍅 Paste

50 Grated Gouda Cheese

1tbsp Paprika

MUSHROOM and MUNG BEAN

👩‍🍳In my kitchen it should not be Friday to have monggo or mung bean. I cook it whenever I’m craving for it. Today cook it with champignon or button mushrooms with marinated pork and onion in soy sauce. Something different but it taste good for us. Was quick recipe for Whit Monday dinner. Coming back from another fun-hike just like yesterday with my niece and daughter outside Vienna. Have a try with this recipe of mine and tell me.
