🌍BEEF STEW WITH SMOKY LATIN SEASONING AND My MELON-SPINACH-BANANA SMOOTHIE

👩‍🍳Use a spoonful or two when cooking protein, vegetables and grains as all-purpose seasoning instead of salty dried spice blends. Or use the whole jar as a recipe starter for 4-8 servings. I added carrot, celery, potato and sweet potato. Before serving add chopped parsley adjust the taste with salt if necessary. Because we are Filipino served with rice, tonight’s dinner is for two. For my smoothie melon, spinach, banana and soy milk. No sugar added.

YOU NEED…….

FOR SMOOTHIE:

Melon, 1/4 or half a head

2pieces Banana

200g Baby Spinach

500ml Soy Milk

FOR BEEF STEW:

1kg Beef Meat, I used shoulder part

3pieces small Potato

2pieces Carrot

2pieces small Sweet Potato, purple

sliced Celery bulb

chopped Parsley

3 tbsps. Smoky Latin Seasoning

some Salt to adjust the taste if necessary

1Liter Water for boiling the meat

2tbsps. Tomato Paste

some Olive Oil

1 Red Onion

🇪🇺🇵🇭LENTILS WITH SMOKED SPARERIBS FOR LUNCH

👩‍🍳Lentil recipes belong to healthy legumes, are easy to digest and have a very high proportion of protein. Red and green lentils are available in stores. Depending on how long they are stored, the green lentils turn brown. They are spicy and nutty in taste. The best-known lentil recipe is “Linsen with Bacon”. But Today it is the smoked spareribs landed in my lentils seasoned with tiny shrimps cooked in coconut milk served with red rice.

🌏🌍THE WEIRD SOUP FROM MY KITCHEN🙈🤣 SMOKE SPARERIBS SOUP

First time to cook this, smoked spareribs soup kind of weird combination or fusion. Another creation direct from my kitchen. I just added carrot and zucchini just what on hand at home. Turned out good and we enjoyed the flavorful soup with my boiled broccoli and hubby ate with rice. Ribs was so tender and flavorful too.

YOU NEED…….

800g Smoked Spareribs

some Pepper Corns

👩‍🍳Another simple recipe from my collection of stir-fry sauce. Spicy garlic sauce added to chicken breast, eggplant, zucchini and scallions served with basmati rice. Experimenting with all those sauces from my favorite Chinese Shop named “SINO” near us. Of course always with vegetables not only meat. Happy Prepping everyone. Guten Appetit!

🌏SEAWEED FRIED RICE/ RICE AND SHINE TODAY

👩‍🍳Another experiment from my little kitchen was my first time to try adding or tossing some seaweed with some summer vegetables fried rice. It turned out good but for me, the seaweed was not enough. Next time I will add more. For more taste. Served with smoke mackerel and my homemade kimchi dinner for two as usual. Have a try Guys and let me know your thoughts.

By chance, I discovered this seasoning or sauce which is good for cooking protein, vegetables and grains as an all-purpose seasoning instead of salty dried spice blends. You can use the whole jar as a recipe starter for 4 to 8 servings. I love trying lots of things from the market. Then create a recipe out of it just like today. 🇵🇭CRISPY PORK BELLY KARE-KARE WITH GINATAANG BAGOONG ALAMANG/QUICK & EASY WAY

👩‍🍳Crispy pork belly cooked in salad master Skillet without using oil or any fat. A variety of vegetables in a sauce flavored and thickened with peanut butter is just as good! Another way to prepare kare-kare is to cook the vegetables separately in a small amount of water. Then I cook the kare-kare sauce using Mama Sita’s Kare-Kare Mix and added the peanut butter. Not the traditional one but turned out good without staying longer in the kitchen.

YOU NEED…….

a bunch of String Beans or Sitaw

2 pieces Eggplant, medium-sized

a bunch of Pechay

4 sliced Pork Belly

1 Bottle of Peanut Butter

1 pouch of Mama Sita’s Kare-Kare Mix

some Water for blanching Vegetables and at same time you can use for making the sauce

a cup of Bagoong, tiny shrimps

250 g Coconut Milk

🌍🌏PANANGHALIAN-LUTONG BAHAY/ EATING AS MEDICINE-HOMECOOKED FOOD/ JUICING

👩‍🍳Ilocos, located at the northern tip of the Philippines is bordered by the China Sea. That’s the place where my late father and hubby came from. Both are from Ilocos Sur. The reason why I love this dish so much especially the choices of vegetables that are usually added in this dish. If you see me cooking lots of meat, that’s for family. I prefer eating more vegetables than meat especially the green leafy ones. Here is today’s lunch cooked by my hubby and my Juicing with beetroot, carrot, apple and ginger makes this lunch for two so perfect for “Eating as Medicine”!
