👩‍🍳The Rainbow Parade is a political demonstration and a colourful parade that is held annually in Vienna on the Ringstrasse. It is committed to equal rights for gays and lesbians and thus corresponds to the events that are known in Germany as Christopher Street Day.

Every year JUNE stands worldwide as PRIDE month for pride and acceptance of the rainbow community. People in Vienna for many years is actively has been promoting diversity and solidarity. This year there are over 1,700 advertising spaces, more than ever before under the motto “We ride with pride”. Vienna wouldn’t be Vienna without its diverse population. This requires respect and tolerance. Diversity tolerance are not only central values but also part of everyday life in Vienna. At my work, family, friends, even on YOUTUBE virtually friends whom I know. That is why Vienna have been showing solidarity with the LGBTIQ and community for years.
