Another cooking episode of mine from the garden to the table, harvested purple sweet potatoes, chili and chili leaves from our terrace urban garden last summer. Sweet potatoes are a very healthy root vegetable and provide many benefits. Low in calories, high levels of Vitamin A and C, iron, potassium and dietary fibre. No fat and keep me full for longer. Here I decided to make filling out of it for puff pastry and it turn out good. Just added sweet love syrup and milk then bake for 15 minutes. and Voila! A light snack for the whole family on this cold Sunday.
I used all the purple sweet potatoes what we got from urban garden. I don’t know how many kilogram but about 20 pieces and it is not thick and small ones.
I use 2 rolls puff pastry for this
Sweet Love Syrup instead of Honey about 4 tbsps
1/2 cup Milk
1 Egg for brushing on top
