BAKING AND DESSERT

🇵🇭BIKO-MONGGO with MOZZARELLA CHEESE and STRAWBERRY SAUCE

👩‍🍳A traditional sweet usually prepare and eaten during Christmas 🎄 season particularly in the Philippines. Since I‘m in Europe I have to find a way how to cook this with twist according to my family preference. So here is my version of Biko-Monggo with Mozzarella cheese and Strawberry sauce, Mung Beans Or in Tagalog “Monggo” and Glutinous rice cake topped with Strawberry sauce and “Latik” or Coconut Caramel. My Biko-Monggo with Mozzarella Cheese and Strawberry Sauce

YOU NEED…….

1kg Glutinous Rice

a cup of Brown Sugar

1tsp Green food Color

1 and 1/2 Liter Coconut Milk

400ml Coconut milk for Coconut caramel or Latik

250g grated Mozzarella Cheese

5tbsps Strawberry Sauce, optional
