👩‍🍳This tomato ragout is a delicious sauce, for burgers, fish, meat or pasta even uses it as a side dish. The tomatoes for this recipe are harvested from our urban gardening. Tomatoes have become indispensable in our kitchens and recipes. Even with the Aztecs, the red, juicy fruit was one of the most important fruits of their time. Today the tomato is considered the leading vegetable fruit worldwide.

My homemade tomato 🍅 ragout or ragu


400g Tomato 🍅

2pieces Bell Pepper

3tbsps Olive oil

1 Onion 🧅

4 cloves Garlic 🧄

3tbsps Brown Suagr

75ml Vegetable broth

Salt 🧂 and fresh ground Pepper

1tsp Oregano 🌿 I used dried
