OVEN MINCED BEEF-SPELT EMPANADA

👩‍🍳”Eat Spelt, your body will thank you”. For me, spelt based products is more healthier than wheat-based products. WHY? Because one, I feel fuller longer. Has twice much vitamin K. Good source of fiber too. Has no sugar good for a diabetic. A healthy whole grain that provides valuable fiber which slows down the absorption of sugars.

My Spelt empanada

YOU NEED…….

400g Minced Beef

1 Onion 🧅

6 cloves Garlic 🧄

1 Carrot 🥕

20g Green Peas

1big Potato 🥔

Salt 🧂 to taste

Some chopped Rosemary

3tbsps Olive oil

FOR DOUGH:

1kg Spelt flour

half a Cup of Sugar

1 Cup of Water

250g Margarine 🧈

8g Baking Powder

1tsp Salt 🧂
