ARROZ CON POLLO

👩‍🍳Since rice is relatively neutral in taste, it is an ideal combination for the spicy spices of Mexican cuisine. Even dishes cooked Poco Picante goes well with simple, cooked rice. To add a little extra pizzazz, white rice is often cooked with a little chili powder. It is advisable to start with a teaspoon of the mild chilli powder per cup of uncooked rice. The quantity and character of the chili powder can then be adjusted to suit your own taste. I added Sambal Oelek instead. This rice is an ideal combination to omelettes, meat-like chicken, Asada, and pork chops. Spanish rice or Mexican rice is richer. Here the rice is cooked in chicken broth with turmeric seasoned salt. My version of ARROZ CON POLLO

YOU NEED…….

300g Chicken according to your preference, I use chicken wings

3 cups of Rice

1tsp Sambal Oelek

100g Olive

150g Green Peas

1 Onion 🧅

4 cloves Garlic 🧄

1tbsp Turmeric powder

1 can of peeled Tomato

500ml Chicken Broth, or just enough to cook the rice and chicken

3tbsps Olive oil or any vegetable oil

Salt to taste
