Do you rinse off corned beef before cooking? Me not but they say that rinsing corned beef removes any excess salt from the meat. Resulting in a more mild flavor or boiling. Which I never tried yet. And some people recommend soaking in water for 24 hours in the fridge before cooking, to remove some saltiness. Well, I‘ll try next time I will let you know.
