🇪🇺TENDER TURKEY BREAST on ZUCCHINI-PEAS VEGETABLE

Today, a light meal is waiting to spoil you with culinary delights. Brown rice is a side dish. 350g Turkey breast

150g Brown Rice

200g Peas

2tbsp Dried Oregano

I remember my father says;
„Adding of noodles to sardines might have been born from the frugal efforts of a homemaker to extend the viand and further the number it will serve.“ Sardines is an affordable protein source in the Philippines where I came from and by adding misua or rice vermicelli plus broth, this extends the whole thing. My daughter like it but my son not.

Sponge gourd, sardines and rice vermicelli

YOU NEED…….

2 bunched of Rice Vermicelli

2 cans of Sardines (I use Ligo Sardines from

Philippines)

2tbsp Olive oil

1pc Onion

4 cloves Garlic

a thumb-sized Ginger

half a liter hot water

2pcs medium-sized Sponge Gourd

2pcs Scallions

Fish Sauce to taste

🇵🇭TATSOI and PANCIT CANTON

Tatsoi is a close relative of Pak Choi, Chinese cabbage as well as the turnip. Because of the rosette-like arrangement of the leaves, it was also called Rosetten-Pak-Choi or Rosetten-Bok-Choi. In German it is also called leaf mustard because of its fine mustard note. I added to my

Plenty of vegetables ideal for a healthy meal or diet. Although fiber is a carbohydrate, it is largely indigestible. A distinction is made between the insoluble fibers, which come mainly from whole grain products, and the soluble fibers from vegetables, fruits and legumes. Both of which are important however, for the sake of the intestines one should not overuse them. And not abruptly change much.

Try to make your own Spanish style sardines using any fish according to your preference. Here I use fresh mackerel, super easy recipe without using pressure cooker. Just slow cooking covered with enough oil. Just to reduce the oil and get fish meat and bones to become tender without breaking into pieces.
