🇮🇹TRAVEL DIARY 📔EP1 ITALY NAPLES,CINQUE TERRE and PISA TOWER

Naples, Napoli, Neapel, Napolitana, I don’t know how you call it is the third largest Municipality in Italy.  They said public health conditions in the city were poor.  We are so blessed what we have here in Vienna.  And was the most bomed city in Italy during world war 2.  Jesus Christ! Sorry for this review.😏

Piazza del Plebiscito (picture above) is the main city square.  For me was not that exciting scenery, eventhough I’m that type who has big interest with culture, history and museums what Nations matter.  It is a comparison of just like an abandoned place or a dead society.  I could not feel what ever excitement or interesting topics or area which derives the so called what nations matter.  Maybe was not enough time to get know the place, but I tell you frankly, I don’t have any plan at all to comeback not even for a short period of time.  This was only a part what we have seen, there’s a lot more about the place.   The square is good used for open-air concerts.  It is really huge enough to accommodate concert-goers. With my cousin Gigi and her son, during their one month vacation here in europe.

A WALK with MARY🐶 DIABETIC LIFE on 🇦🇹AUSTRIAN NATIONAL HOLIDAY

Fancy exercise the human body is programmed to exercise. No matter what activities you do, whether stool exercise, dancing while sitting, hiking or jogging, it is important that the movement is adapted to your personal ability. I for on I prefer walking, not everyday but I see to it that almost everyday.🤣 The benefits of walking, and exercising in general include- lowering blood glucose levels. Improving the body‘s ability to use insulin.

Who individually burdened his body can keep him fit.💪🏽 Said and done.✅ This was almost 2hours walked or more back and forth with my doggie 🐶 Mary during the celebration of 🇦🇹Austrian National Holiday. My diabetic life. Take it from me folks!🤗

🇦🇹🇵🇭WAY of LIFE

Simple home cooking 👩‍🍳 that makes me happy at all. Water spinach everyday is a BIG YES! As well steamed shrimps with lots of garlic plus vegetable soup out of seafood broth is heaven.

At Yori restaurant

Reastaurant review. A little piece of Korea in the middle of Vienna. We tried this restaurant called Yori. Restaurant Yori is located in the first district, just opposite the Urania. I should say the food was great 👍 thumbs up.

If you‘ve been living with type 2 diabetes for a while, just like me our journey is unique because it starts fresh everyday. Why? Everyday freshly prepping. I use to plan my meal, what to cook day to day basis. Eat out is only an encentive or bonus.🤣 Mostly or preferably not salty and no fat, if ever use any vegetable oil. Therefore, pay attention to the quantity as well the quality of oil you can are using. This recipe a 30 minute kitchen prepping and diabete friendly. Recipe yields for two persons. Cod fish-zucchini-carrot served with Turmeric-peas-carrot-basmati rice

YOU NEED…….

2pcs. Zucchini

2pcs. Carrot 🥕

some thyme, fresh or dried

3tsp. Olive oil

Salt and Pepper to taste

400g Cod fish fillet

1tsp. Lemon 🍋 juice

3 stalks Scallions and some chopped Chive

Here’s is with smoked mackerel

You can replace cod fish fillet with any fish fillet according to your preference, picture above is with smoked mackerel, my daughter’s choice. Turmeric can reduce the effects of the complications of diabetes. The spice has anti inflammatory, antioxidant and cell protecting properties. According to researchers.

🇦🇹DIABETIC FRIENDLY CHICKEN WINGS RECIPE

Hubby brought this chicken wings the other day. I always have carrot 🥕 potatoes 🥔 and scallions in my pantry. Thinking what to cook 👩‍🍳 for today’s lunch. So this came in my mind a sort of soup but taste like Filipino „tinola“ but not. More vegetable than chicken wings, I just need the taste of chicken for the soup and vegetable. Ok just check this out now and have a try.🤣

Vegetable and chicken wings served with brown rice and banana 🍌

500g Chicken wings, I Cooked without skin

3pcs. Carrot 🥕

3 stalks Scallions

5pcs. small Potatoes 🥔

1pc. Onion

Ginger, a thumb-sized

2tbsp. Chicken broth powder

2tbsp. Butter

This brekky was adapted from Saif’s prepping, my daughter‘s friend who‘s from India 🇮🇳 I just added fish balls for a twist. Yields 3 to 4 persons.

Shrimp 🍤 balls, what I know about this is a Cantonese Dim Sum for us finger food, or could serve as appetizer. Today I integrate it with vegetable such as sponge gourd (Patola), carrot, ans chayote. Sometimes with Sotanghon (Glass noodle)

2pcs. small Chayote

125g Shrimp 🍤

150g Shrimp balls

150ml Vegetable broth

1pc. medium-sized Sponge Gourd (Patola)

3 stalks Scallions

some salt to adjust the taste

🇵🇭BITTER GOURD or MELON (Ampalaya)-OKRA-SHRIMP in COCONUT 🥥 MILK

Bitter gourd or melon, in Tagalog „Ampalaya“ the fruit said that contains at least three active substances, with anti diabetic according to studies. This recipe is diabetic friendly which is good to integrate in daily meal.

4tbsp. Olive oil

a thumb-sized Ginger

3 cloves Garlic

2pcs. Bitter melon or gourd (Ampalaya)

a handful Ampalaya leaves(Bitter melon leaves)

300ml Coconut 🥥 milk

225 g Shrimps 🦐

Salt to taste
